You might be wondering if the world needs another blog. I’ve wondered that for quite some time. But, you know, I started to realise that perhaps these thoughts were hiding my true fears: that I am too scared to put myself, my writing, out there. So, I took a breath and created this site, a place where I can post my stories.
Most of these posts that appear on here are stories that I wrote while at university. I’ve just graduated from my under-grad degree, a Bachelor of Arts (Professional and Creative Writing) (Sociology) at Deakin University. I got pretty good marks for these stories, and the time has come to post them. The alternative has, to this point, been that they hide in the C drive on my laptop, while I complain that I’m never going to make it as a writer. Correct, Linda! Especially if no one is able to read them. So, here are some of them. I hope you enjoy them. I enjoyed writing them, and I still get a bit of thrill-shock when I read them again and think that it was my teeny-tiny brain that thought them up.
Take a look around, have a read and make a comment if you’d like to. I’d love to know what you think (but only if it’s positive, of course). I’ll be posting more in the coming days.
