Confusion doesn’t seep
It pours in as water
From a tap but it
Does not quench.
It disorients, leaving
Us puzzled and dazed.
I wish we could all live
A life unfazed.
But what would that bring?
How would we live and
Truly experience the good,
If not for all the bad.
Knowing this alters not
The scorn nor the pain
It doesn’t stymie the flow
From puzzlement’s tap.
Patience, kindness must be
The path we take
While we wait for puzzled
To change back to peace.
