The outback

It’s considered almost abnormal to be Australian and not love the bush.

And yet, I do not love the bush, the outback, the scrub. Whatever you want to call it, I don’t like it. I’m a city girl; the reddish brown dust and all the insects and snakes and lizards and other creepy-crawlies can stay where they are, and I’ll stay here.

Hope all’s well in your corners of the world, bloggers.

  1. I prefer the beach. I’m a beach boy. Somewhere in tropical or subequatorial Australia. I don’t care if there are crocs and box jellies, I just want the sea breeze and the moist humidity.

      1. So long as my burger has a pineapple ring, slices of beetroot, and a fried egg with runny yolk, I’m happy in the hot sun, covered in sand, and sweating like a pig.
