Time to shine

Celeste is still on the call but jumps up and down in excitement. She hangs up the phone and claps her hands.

‘Nath! Where are you?’ she calls.

‘Here,’ he responds.

Celeste follows his voice and finds him in the studio. He’s stooped over the bench, cleaning his brushes; he turns his head to look at her.

‘What is hon? You sound excited.’

‘I am!’ she squeals. ‘I just got off the phone with my agent. The audition I went for two weeks back? Do you remember?’

Nath nods.

‘I got the part!’ She jumps again, kicking her feet into her bum. ‘Finally! I feel like it’s my time to shine!’
