Over it!

Frazzled. Good word to describe how I’m feeling this morning.

Yet another week of the kids being home while undertaking online classes. Yet another week of me working from home.

It’s not bad, though. I keep reminding myself that things could always be worse. I guess I just feel like everyone else: over it, want to go out to a cafe for lunch, or restaurant for dinner. Wine bar for catch-up drinkies. Travel across the border to see my parents in South Australia. That sort of thing.

Fortitude is what we need to keep on with our #stayhome safety measures. A greater strength of mind and character is certainly required, for me anyway.

Have a good day!

      1. I think having these outlets, our blogs, helps us to manage the isolation, frustration, boredom and loneliness in huge intangible ways. Sending hugs and thoughts your way πŸ™‚

      2. Actually that’s how I’m spending this time, blog, writing, arts, reading, improving social media presence. Focusing on publishing occasionally. Becuase these are the things I didn’t get enough time for in my pre-covid life

  1. My aunt is in Adelaide and her version of lockdown seems to be far less severe than yours (and mine!). Hopefully those will be the next steps for Victoria too. The total number of cases in Aus – ever – is in the same ballpark as our total *per day*, so hopefully you guys got off lightly.

    1. Yeah, SA is a bigger state, land-wise than Victoria, but waaaay smaller in population. It’s like a big country town, really. There hasn’t been many cases of covid-19 in SA, and very few deaths. My mum tells me that students are back at school after their term break, whereas over here, we’re still enduring home-schooling, remote learning, while working from home. Gah!!
