Mothers’ Day

I’ve just risen out of bed.

Had a lie-in, joined by Our Girl for cuddly snuggles. Hubster then made brekkie for me and brought it on a tray to the bed. On the tray was a hand-picked rose from our garden by T2, an espresso coffee made by T1. Brekkie was avocado, fetta and bacon on sourdough toast, with tomatoes and mushrooms on the side. Our Girl ate her breakfast on the bed with me, to keep me company.

My life is the opposite of empty. I am full (literally, in the tum!) and happy. There is no need to explore fields afar or live the life of a nomad.

All I need is here.

Happy Mothers’ Day to all those celebrating today!
