No thanks

What the hell have WP done now?

My page looks different, and not in a good way. Looks like junk, rubbish.

Are they trying to become the arch nemesis of every blogger?

I know I’ll get used to it. I know it’s not a big deal. But I liked the way everything was set out previously, and honestly, I’m not tech-savvy enough to cope with the changes.

Yep, I’m whingeing. But it’s making me think about creating my own website. It’s about time, and it makes sense to start one, given my goal to become published. Today, once my work hours are over, I’ll be researching.

Have a good day!

      1. Oh, yea, the dashboard changes make navigation difficult. I wish they’d give us the option to keep a dashboard we enjoy using. As you say though, we’ll get used to it.

  1. Have a look at selh-hosting WordPress (wordpress.org). Even if you have your own site you’ll still need to manage your content, and WP.ORG is free and as good as any. The kind of interface you see for managing the site is the /wp-admin site.

You can also install a plugin called Jetpack which will allow WP.COM users to continue liking/commenting.

  2. I am sorry this is happening to lots of folk. I am not sure if my bushboy.blog account has changed as I have been too busy reading all the responses to the prompt. Just had a quick look and am fine. I started using blocks on the govt website I wrote for so found it easy on my PC. It took a while to get sorted on my tablet and phone which I use when at my besties or not at home and I am not all that tech savvy either. x

      1. Yep, I get that. It’s just that we all spend so much time becoming accustomed to using a style, then they change it. Then we spend more time getting used to the new changes, and so it goes on.
