Anthology Launch

Last night, our little family enjoyed an early dinner, following which Hubster and I took the kids out. We drove for nearly an hour to the other side of Melbourne for the launch of [untitled] Issue 9, an anthology in which one of my short stories is published.

I was very excited, yet anxious, too. Only my second published story, and my first ever launch (that includes my work). I read an excerpt from my story, as did a few other writers present. I’m no stranger to public speaking, but this felt different. Because I was slightly jittery with nerves, my voice was strained and breathless. While I was reading, T1 snapped a stealthie.

If you’re interested in reading my fabulous story, let me know and I’ll include a link once live.

  1. That’s fantastic Linda that you and your family got to attend the launch and hear you speak. Great news. Congratulations. At first I read snapped as cracked and thought he did a SBD 🀣🀣🀣
