Happy days

First week in new job is over and I couldn’t be more pleased with my situation. The location is pristine, everything as neat as a pin. Coworkers are friendly and welcoming, and seem genuinely pleased to have me on board.

Can’t believe the coin toss fell in my favour.

Missing posting on here every day, however, and interested to know how you’ve all been plodding along with this thing called life. Make a comment, I’d love to hear from you.

  1. A career move, well deserved. As an amazing woman, that you are, who – ‘Look at a day when you are supremely satisfied at the end. It’s not a day when you lounge around doing nothing; it’s a day you’ve had everything to do, and you’ve done it (well).’

  2. Happy news! Yay for you!

Here, same old same old. Was starting to get back “out there,” but the latest covid news has made me think that’s unwise. Back to masking & outdoor meetups only.

  3. Wonderful news! I have been out with the pneumonia since 3/20 but am thinking about what I want to do next for work, since I can’t do family doctoring any more. Sigh. Sorta sucks, because I am darn good at family doctoring. I want to work some with residents and medical students.
