Rehearsing for a role

I am so nervous I can barely think. It’s stupidly hot and windy today, which also detracts from my ability to form cognitive thought. Why am I nervous, I hear you ask?

One word: interview.

I have been practicing all morning. I have been talking out loud in my home about my strengths and values, my ideas to bring to the role. Our cat, Rosie, looks at me like I’ve gone mad (she is, however, the stupid cat!). But rehearse I must, even with the cat’s consternation; I am trying to get the language right, because I reeeeeeeeaaaaaaly, truly-dooly want this job.

Wish me luck!
